Prince William is reportedly uneasy as he suspects that his current close aides, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, might be “stolen” by Prince Harry.
This concern isn't just limited to the royal brothers.
According to the Independent, Kate Middleton also worries about losing her “backup” assets to Meghan Markle after already losing a close friend to the Duke of Sussex.
Royal author Tom Quinn recently told The Mirror, “For Prince William and Kate Middleton, an alliance between Prince Harry-Meghan Markle and Princess Beatrice-Princess Eugenie is a major concern.”
“They feel that Beatrice and Eugenie, who are somewhat marginalized themselves, have more in common with Harry and Meghan than with the rest of the family,” he added.
Princess Beatrice is reportedly being used by King Charles and Prince William to fill gaps left by Kate Middleton, but she has not been given any official duties or payments yet.
Princess Eugenie, meanwhile, experienced a setback when she was moved from 6th to 11th in line for the British throne’s succession.
Their “growing bitterness” toward the royal family could easily lead them to align with Prince Harry and Meghan.
